Leather wheel wrap?
Ever since I got my car, I've wanted to thicken up the steering wheel. Also, I recently got my car back from the dealer and a few days later I noticed a small, rough, inch long scratch on the bottom of the steering wheel. The scratch is bothering me a little and I know that the dealer wouldn't take responsibility, I can't even prove it was them anyways. Having no experience with interior care, I was wondering if I could "buff" or smooth out the scratch.
But my main question involves wheel covers or wraps. I've heard good things about wheelskins and I didn't find much when I searched the forums. I think this would be a good way to cover the scratch and at the same time thicken my steering wheel. I would rather keep my wallet thicker, so wheelskins or similar products are the probably my best bet. I found an ebay seller named Mr. steering who sells wheel wraps much like wheelskins does. Any other C class owners try this or have any experience with it?
