2008 c350
Exclamation How to reset engine light? 2008 c350 Misfiring issue

I have a 2008 c350 with my engine lights on for the second time recently. The first time my engine light was on, I had a local MB authorized mechanic replace 1 camshaft adjuster magnet which turned off the light.

The invoice description states: "Star Diagnosis System found stored fault codes 0732 the position of the exhaust camshaft (cylinder bank 1) deviates from the specific value, 0632 combustion misfiring has been detected, 0649 combustion misfiring of cylinder #2 has been detected, and 0648 combustion misfiring of cylinder #6 has been detected. Recommend to replace 1 camshaft adjuster magnet, spark plugs, and ignition coils #2 & #6."

After the mechanic replace the camshaft adjuster magnet, I took the car home and changed all the spark plugs (even though the old ones looked fine) and I replaced ignition coils D and F with Beck/Arnley Direct Ignition Coils I bought from Advance auto Parts. According to my OBD2 scanner I have a random misfire detected (P0300), ignition coil D Primary/secondary circuit (P0354), and ignition coil F primary/secondary circuit (P0356). I'm not sure why the mechanic told me #2 and #6 when my OBD2 tells me D(#4) and F(#6)?

After I replaced those ignition coils, my engine light is still on. Am I suppose to somehow reset the codes? And if so, how so? Even though I press erase on my ODM2 scanner, the light and code is still there.

Another weird thing is that when I switch the new ignition coils with ignition coils A and B, I started getting misfiring codes for A and B which won't go away even though I switch the coils back.

Any help is appreciated, super confused!
