Painted Caliper Kit?
Hello,
I'm interested in painting my calipers red,as the stock look of the calipers are truly ugly. Now, in order for me to do this, what do I need? Is there some sort of kit I need? Or can I just go to a body shop and let them do it? Because I remember reading somewhere here that most people get a red paint caliper kit.
Thanks

Also, is there any way I can get those huge AMG calipers? Just the calipers? Or would I need the whole deal in order to have big calipers.

I meant to ask for links to a premium red caliper kit. The one on amazon that the above poster provided seems a little sketchy .

I used the Dupli-Color kit from Advance Auto Parts ($20). It is a ceramic base, easy to use and lasts for years. I had it on my 08 and looked great until the day I totaled it.

W204 if your taking it to a shop to have the calipers done for you why bother to look for a kit. let them provide it.
Ive been thinking about painting mine but now they are in good shape so maybe in the future, IMO I would not do Red on a C class unless its a AMG . I think unless they are 4 or 6 piston calipers its kind of poser look to attract attention to a single piston stock caliper.
its a 30 minute job to DIY, pull the wheels, clean mask and paint. Any quality Hi temp engine, exhaust or brake paint will do. If you want it done to last powder coat them but be sure the powder coater knows high heat coatings

Or
Let a body shop paint it without the kit, and pay well over $100.
What would you prefer?
As for being a poser I'm sure red calipers aren't. If I put an AMG badge on with a quad diffuser, quad exhaust, and AMG front bumper...that's being a poser.

I do not see the difference, one of the seller is G2 USA so I would probably buy from that one.
