So this has been happening for a month or so, when the car gets up to tempurature the heat unit starts to squeak and when you turn the heat/ac unit off the noise goes away. It sounds like it is coming from under the glove box, is there any fans below there that could be making this noise.

any help would be appreciated.

thanks for looking!

Were you ever able to resolve this? Not sure if i'm experiencing the same sound you're hearing, but I have started hearing it only when the heat is on. It comes and goes depending on the fan speed I believe. At full blast it seems to go away.

Uploaded a video here: https://imgur.com/VTWftB5 - You can hear the sound start at around the 8 second mark. It's like a chirping/squeaking.

For both cases, I recommend looking into the blower motor. That’s how mine went out, annoyed me enough to get rid of the squeak.

Blower motor is behind and under the glove box, I replaced mine on a W212 when it started to squeak and chirp. Except for having to lay on your back under the dash it’s an easy job and the fans are cheap.

Yes, it's the blower motor, it's underneat the glove compertment. I replaced mine last year. It's an easy job but you may need to loosen the screws of the glove compertment a little to mak room for the motor to turn slightly. The's a tab on the motor that got obstructed by the glove box. That was in my case.
