Headlight Bulb Replacement
Had a RS bulb blow. Thought it was fairly quick at 42k. Thought about running over to the dealer or calling to see if it would be under warranty. In the end, read a Consumer Reports review that indicated one does not do much better to buy the more expensive bulbs (my car has regular halogen bulbs). CR did recommend to replace both sides due to natural degradation; this made sense, so I purchased two Sylvania H7's for 14/ea.
Replacement was a bit tricky with the small, metal locking pins, but otherwise just a lack of space to work on the driver's side. Oh, I do use the daytime running light feature, so the low beams are taxed a bit more. Anyway, just wanted to rant a little about the unnecessary over complication.

I don't mind changing the C Class bulbs....not after pulling the entire headlight assembly out of the A4 to do the same thing...
