I am ok the market for a c300 sport 6 mt. I have found one that seems like a decent prospect, but has quite a few service records. I am unsure how to perceive this, as whether it's a sign of a lot of the links have already been figured out or is it a sign of a problem car/lemon.

Should I be worried? My wife's 08 ML350 has been a breeze so far
I've got an 09 6 speed with just under 35,000 miles. I had a steering module in the steering column replaced just a couple of months ago after it started making a squeak. Check to see what parts were fixed. If it's that module, it's not a major issue. They may have been in it twice if the diagnosis wasn't correct the first time. The trunk adjustment was a model-wide campaign, also minor. I've had no issues with drive belts, camshaft seals, nor seats, but my car has had a fairly pampered life. Hard to say if there is reason for concern. The quality of the cars has been good overall, but seemingly was better after the 08 launch year. I consider my car to be one of the highest quality vehicles I've ever owned. For 5 years, essentially nothing...just maintenance. This Fall, I had the first real "repairs"....steering module, a door hinge, and a window regulator...not really major, but the only significant items after 5 years. Other than that, a very well-made, reliable car. I would look for something newer than 08. How much are they asking for it?
