halogen bulb replacement question

halogen bulb replacement question

Sorry, been trying to replace one of the halogen bulb on the low beam.

I searched, but all I find are DIYs on pre-facelift models, where the bulb came straight out of the housing once a black plastic piece was removed. The bulb in my car comes like how its in the pic, and I tried pulling on it but won't come out.
Any tool required?

Really? no one replaced the bulbs?

Did you check your owners manual because that is were I found the information on how to change the bulb in my C300. Just trying to help.

C350 & R350

No tool required... Grab the bulb using a tissue or cloth and pull it away from the housing. It will come apart without much force.

Hey Nelson, thanks for the reply.
I did indeed check the manual (the first place to look), but it only the steps to remove the plastic piece from the housing.

I did try to pull that thing off with good amount of force, but it did not come off. I will try again!

Try to wiggle it a bit to loosen up dirt or residue that may have caked in the tropical hot weather. Use a cloth or hand towel to prevent cuts to your hand in case the bulb break while pulling it out.
