Which would you choose??
Hi there, I just joined because I am looking to purchase a C Class and wanted some help in deciding which is the right car for me.
I live in Toronto, Canada. We don't have the worst winters but I am looking forward to having the 4Matic. For those in the US, our winters are comparable to Buffalo NY.
I am all but decided on the 2011 C300. I like that it's the middle model, but would like to know the differences between it and the 2010 and 2012 models.

What I'm looking for is to know if I should spend a bit more and go for the 2012, or save some by going for a 2010.

If you have room to spend more, then look into the 2013 c300. The 2013 model has the new facelift (better interior IMHO) and a more powerful engine . It has the same 3.5 L M276 engine as the new C350 but detuned to 248 HP so it won't steal the thunder from the C350 model 300+ HP.

you can def get a 2012 almost fully loaded for 30k just be patient and don't go with the first car you see!

Go for the 2012 since it's the refreshed model. The extra exterior and interior styling cues are nicely done and it still has the old M272 which with the exception of 2004 to 2006 engines is a bulletproof reliable motor and silky smooth. The M276 will have carbon deposit issues since it's a DI motor but the M272 uses port injection so none of that carbon crap.
I know the 4Matic with winter tires was coming in handy here in Toronto, this winter kicked our a$$es.
