Can anyone tell me what this noise is and why it happens? I remember someone saying something about an amp made in China versus Germany. Not sure if this is related.

It's hard to distinguish what noise you are talking about. Do you mean the tick sound when you change tracks?
Similarly I have a noise related issue, factory ipod wire, fuzz sound when no music is played / played at high volumes can be heard in the backround. I know amps can be used to fix this with aux input anyone know how to fix this with factory ipod wire?

Happens at 3-4 seconds and 12-13 seconds. Yeah, I guess it sounds like a popping noise. I have my iPod hooked up to the UMI module.
