c300 2008 scanner
Hello just got a c300 2008 sport and took it to check it and once the mechanic plugged it into his scanner the car asked for an update he said he didn't want to do it coz if he did the dashboard might say that it has expired and i would have to change the whole Dashboard for the car to work again.
anyone know about this or anything about the dashboard updates and if it has an expiry?

tnx for the answer,
sorry for late reply was having some internet issues now all fixed issue with me now is i shipped my car to lebanon and started a new job here and the us warranty does not apply here so asked the dealership and they wanted 150$ to do it so asked more around and found a shop that will do it for 40$
