My new C300
Hi all, I have recently purchased a new C300 in white as my daily while I keep my STI as summer weekend warrior.
I used to have a 2006 jetta tdi as daily but I do miss having an AWD car in winter so c300 4matic is the perfect choice!
I almost forgot how comfortable a car could be since all of my previous cars are lowered with coilovers. I will try not to mod the c300 but I will probably use my old BBS CH in summer
New ride

Where did you get the spoiler from and how much if you don't mind me asking.
Definitely change out the interior LED's, the parking bulb (W5W bulb) to an LED bulb (5000k is good to match the daytime LED strip), tints, protect the hood with some sort of film (I got the partial hood done). Highly recommend AZN optics LED's. I bought the 8000k for interior and 5000k set for parking bulbs.

thanks! No, I don't notice any harsh shifting at all regardless it is slow or fast acceleration. I mean... I do feel the shift when I punch it hard but I don't notice any clunk like other members mentioned.
I bought my spoiler on ebay. I have to say it isn't bad for CDN$125 after the $25 ripoff fees from fedex. The paint seems to match pretty nicely but it does need a little polish since I do see some swirl marks.

I changed out most of the interior LED already. For the parking bulb, do you mean the one sidemarkers? I am trying to find a good deal on those clear sidemarkers.
I am dropping off my car next weekend for tint, clear bra on full bumper, fenders, hood, headlights and side mirrors

After looking at the sunny sky for two days, I couldnt wait anymore and I decided to go to my friend's heated garage for the lip spoiler installation

You'll be happy once the tints are done and the clear bra is on. Did the exact same stuff you did. A little pricey but worth it. Did mine at Auto Links in Toronto.

I changed the rear dome (1), rear map lights (2), vanity lights (2), front dome lights (2), footwell lights (2), puddle lights on doors (4), trunk light (1), glove box (1).
I'm trying to find out how to change the light that shines the ground from the sideview mirrors (kind of like a spot light). Of course you notice this light in the dark, but that light is yellow compared to the rest of the car which is white.
Definitely get your LED's from AZN optics. He's well known here and has good quality products and great customer service.

Sorry for the late reply. The parking light is the inner most light that shines from your headlight. I don't have bixenon headlights (just halogens) but the inner most light (i.e. if you stand in front of the car, the lights that are closer to the centre of the car/lights that come on when you unlock your doors). Those are W5W bulbs that use the same 194 wedge type LED's.

Thanks! I can't wait to take the STI out for the summer

Love the logic behind your purchase! I also bought my c300 as a daily while my weekend warrior stays on standby.
Did you use a particular brand of protective wrapping for the hood, fenders, etc?

I also have 3M on my sti but i found this nano-fusion seems to be thicker than the 3M one

Thanks for the info. I'll have to inquire about that with a few detail shops around my area.

those wheels look really good... Time to get a new suspension in if that's what you're up to.
how did the wheels fit? VW and Mercedes have different hub sizes right?

stop tempting me to get new springs. The front needs to lower a bit but I am trying to keep the suspension stock since i still want to travel to places without scraping. I have enough headache to drive around with my sti
Mercedes has a bigger hub size so I need a new BBS pfs hub kit which is a pain in the butt to get. Apparently, they are special order items so I have to wait a little longer.

Hey terrence, did you install the HID lights yourself or get a shop to do it? I have the halogen bulbs and wanted to get the HID. Im in Mississauga, can you PM me your contact info?
