Hello All,
I am new here and this is my first MB. When I purchased it it was "wired " for the Navigation, but the dealer wanted $695 for the unit. Does anyone here know of a less expensive route to get the module? I think it controls the voice activation as well. 2013 C-300 Sport in Lunar Metallic Blue BTW.

Buy it off ebay, I think they are $300 for a new unit.

I got mine off of ebay. New in box and installs really easy.
It controls voice activation for input of directions, but it DOES NOT control voice activation for phone or radio!. That is only done with the factory installed comand unit.
Note:
The latest map updates are from Q3 2012 and that came out around christmas. They are way behind and there are no free upgrades!
I sent them an e-mail about the lack of updates and was told they expected a "new" update soon. That was the Q3 2012 last December.
Yes it work and works well, just don't expect updates on a frequent schedule like you get from Garmin.
