Resonator or muffler delete on C250

Has anyone remove the resonator of the C250 CDI and keep the tip the standar?I am thinking of remove it. . You think the sound will change? And how about delete the muffler and put a custom?

Nope, at least not on the CGi engine though I suspect the CDi will probably sound similar. When I had an exhaust done on my C200, we tested the car after removing the mid-pipe and muffler, not much louder. The Cat in the DP does a really good job of muffling the exhaust noise. You can try straight mid-pipe and eisenmann race muffler, that will give you a decent sound.

I will go for a straight pipe from the cat and put a tip to see any change first and the propaply insert a eisenmann muffer on it!!
