Tyres pressure18 AMG Rims

I have a C250 with frond tyres 225/40/R18 and back tyres 255/35/R18. I search thru the forum but no one manage to find the best psi to put. Does anybody know?

The recommended psi will be printed on the inside of the gas cap. However i have 235 up front and 265 in the rear and whilst in for service recently the dealer reset them to that pressure and for me they were too soft. I have them now set at 38 psi all round. Find it much better.

I actually use 33 psi all around and the tires last a lot longer than if I use the gas tank recommended psi.

It's funny the on the fuel door it says 36 PSI but on the driver's door it says 39 PSI. I run 41 PSI for all four tires. I find the ride to be better and the fuel mileage to also be better.

There's nothing funny about it. If you read the fine print, the higher PSI recommendations is for high speed driving.

The service technicians at my shop while a little unqualified tuned my tires per my specification to about 38 PSI. FL is a little low, RR a little high. Haven't had time to correct. I don't like how the stock tires handle at lower pressure so I have been running slightly higher pressures.

I guess a C350 has higher pressure stock because of the bigger/heavier engine.

My recommended pressure on the driver door is 39 front and 42 rear. I also noticed the higher max weight is set to 849 lbs vs 837 lbs for the C250.

The one in the door jam is fully loaded. And the one at gas cap is cold tires under normal circumstances.
So if youre by yourself alot and not hauling alot of stuff go with gas cap. If u fill your car up/have people in your car, go with door jam
