2010 E350 COUPE
2010 E350 Cp Battery issues

Advice needed. Anyone having problems with battery drain? Had to have car jumped at least twice during the first two years of purchase. MB dearlership repaced the battery 2 years ago and a third time not starting (under warranty). Bought into the MB dealership yesterday after needing jump starting again. Tech advisor says battery needs replacement ($348) before they can check any additonal problems that could be causing the drainage. I have two questions (1) is there another way the dealership can check for draining without installing a new battery and (2) Advance auto has a replacement battery for th 2010 E350 for $178.00. Is anything wrong with going with the lower price battery from Advance Auto? Any help with be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for your assistance.

Yes it is possible to check for a battery drain, but you'll need a multimeter. But don't buy advance crappy battery. Go for either interstate or even Napa batteries are great.
