Aftermarket front grills..which is better?

Hey guys I'm looking to upgrade my grill to a C63 single fin grill. I have noticed some that are single piece and some that are two piece (grill + top trim attached to hood)

Which is better/worse? I'm not sure which to get.

Here is the pic for a single piece on ebay

and a two piece version on ebay

Get the first one. There is a thread about these grills and several people have purchased the first and say that it fits great.

I dont know about the 2 piece version. For the single piece, a while back I emailed 55tech about that same grille and they told me it might have a big gap. I bought this one in the end.
Edit: Sorry nvm this. The girlle is for facelift cars. The problem with fitment I mentioned is for pre-facelift.

It's a facelift grill, so It will fit facelift cars. 55tech sells prefacelift grills as well. Two people in this thread bought the 1st grill you posted, they both posted pictures and stated it fit perfectly. https://mbworld.org/forums/c-class-w...12-w204-3.html

I bought a grill and a few other accessories from Jakuo/55Tech, they are quality products and Jason is good at answering any of your questions and making sure things are right.

I really like the first grill. Too bad it's not for the pre-facelift models.

I bought a similar one like the first link for my pre FL but there was some modification involved since it was made for FL. The one I bought had the fin in Chrome the rest gloss black. I posted the modification on another thread. Just gotta look for it. I also plasti dipped the gloss black to make it more matte to match the bottom grills. Maybe guys can decide if there's gap or not.

Update: here's the thread

The pics in the thread are actually before the mod. Below is what it looks like after.
