Exclamation Confused about choosing tire size with 4matic

Hey everyone,
I'm trying to source some correct tires for my car, and I've been told they have to match exactly or it could knacker the 4matic system.

I'm going for 19" wheels with a staggered set up, so 9.5" rear and 8.5" front. What size tires do I need?

Tire Rack recommends 255 30 19 for rear, 235 35 19 for front. (I had to put my car as a C300 4matic, for some reason C350 4matic was not listed)
When I input these values into this tire size calculator, (http://tire-size-conversion.com/tire-size-comparison/) the diameter and circumference don't match:

When I up the rear width to 265, it matches much closer:

Also, I was specifically told by the guy that's getting my wheels, that I need 255 rear width and 235 front width, but since the 265 matches better, I am even more confused.

Yes I've searched the forums, some results say one way, some say another.
Need some help please!

Addendum, I just saw this thread here:
https://mbworld.org/forums/c-class-w...-vehicles.html
And it explains it a bit, but I'm getting 19", so that's no longer "factory" spec.
My tires did come staggered from factory, 255 rear, 235 front, 18".

Go for the wider (265)tyres at the rear and you will be fine..
