How long for H&R springs to settle?

Guys,

I just had a set of H&R springs (1.2 inch drop) installed today on my 09' C350 and it looks like there is still a nice amount of space between the tire and the fender (a two finger gap in the rear). How long does it take for the springs to "settle" and how much would you estimate more would it drop. I am starting to think I should have gotten the 1.7 inch kit or coilovers. Any one have any input???

I'm guessing you got the sport springs and not the super sports. Many members noted that the sport springs didn't seem to drop much. Also, if you drive your car everyday then the springs should settle in about a week.

Yes, I got the Sport series. I was concerned that the Super Sports would rub. I am running 20x8.5 / 20x10 Vossen CV3's with 235/30/20 and 275/25/20 Nitto tires. I will try to take a pic and post it today or tomorrow. The weather is kind of crappy today.

Nope, it's the springs. I bought sport springs and waited for them to settle and two weeks later I ordered super sports. Total time between switching springs, 25 days. Plenty of time to settle. I parked next to other standard height c300s and the difference is not even noticeable. However, I felt the handling improved. The 1.2" drop stated by H&R is for the Luxury model. For the sport model it's about .25". Not sure about the 20s and rubbing, but a friend has 19s and they fit fine w/o rubbing. The super sports are a perfect drop.

My lowered C350 with HR Sport spring

Hey guys sorry I've been crazy busy but here is a pic of my car lowered what is supposed to be 1.2 inches. I'm really thinking I should get Super. Does anyone have Super on their car with 20's?
