Not Charging!
Car: 2010 C300 Sport 4matic w/24k miles

Symptom: Battery ICON on Dash

Checked: Using volt meter checked voltage at battery not running (12.6v) and running (11.6v). Appears to not be charging.

Dealer is about 25 miles away. Running on the battery is going to be a close call.

Any ideas of cause?

Alternator.

While running you should have between 13.5-14.5V with or without loads on (blower, A/C, stereo, brights etc)

Yup...my assumption as well. 25 miles is a bit too risky to try and drive on the battery. Calling dealer now.

Confirmed. The Alternator was replaced by the dealer under warranty today.
