first post: new C250 sport!
Hey Guys,
First post here on the forums. This past sunday I just leased my first mercedes benz, and it's a white C250 Sport w/panoramic roof and AMG wheels. I'm coming from a 2013 Scion FR-S, which I really regretted buying/financing almost two years ago.
Loving my new car so far! Going to be tinting all windows by next weekend, and because it's leased, i'm going to be plasti-dipping my rims, grille, and emblems. I have experience using plasti-dip on previous cars and it's easily removable with no sign of it being there. Because it is leased, does anyone have any recommendations of some mods? Looking to replace those nasty yellow h7 bulbs, but don't want to do the conversion kit/use a cheap HID kit. Will getting an exhaust violate my lease contract? I would like a little louder tone for my car

Interesting comment on the FRS. If you don't mind can you elaborate? I briefly looked into it, but then came out thinking that it would be a fun weekend/project car, but not necessarily a daily driver.

Replace your H7s with Phillips diamond vision or crystal vision H7s. There is two threads regarding complete headlight replacement to an OEM bi-xenon replica on the front page as well if you're interested. X-Pipe isn't really an option for you with a C250, as there is only a single downpipe from the 4cyl, but you could straight pipe it or get a higher flow muffler I guess.

Agreed. The most I'd do is a hardwired radar detector, tints, and maybe a dashcam (if you even call these additions mods).
With a lease...ANY mod that involves "cutting" is an instant disqualification in my book. As a matter a fact, any mod that you couldn't reverse yourself without the additional help of a professional shop should also be disqualified (this includes replacing wheels).
Other items like LED bulbs, cans of spray paint (ex: plastidip), stickers (including vinyl) are all fluff. Do so as you wish.

Don't get me wrong it's a GREAT car. The handling is superb, taking turns is a breeze, its almost like driving a go-kart. Thing is, coming from being a pick up truck driver, I really missed having SPACE. The FR-S had no backseat whatsoever, basically pointless to even have them back there cause there was no room to sit for a normal sized person. NO trunk, and me being an active person (snowboarding, sports etc), I couldn't fit anything back there. In the interior, the car had NO luxury amenities such as; leather seats, power seats, etc etc. very cheapy plastic trimming, door handles. I didn't want to spend a fortune getting a ton of aftermarket parts to make it nice. Lastly, car is painstakingly slow. Long story short, I wanted the luxuries of a european car, got over having a small coupe, and made the wrong purchase.
