Anyone made a purchase through Alibaba.com?
Looking at parts I need on Alibaba.com and I was wondering if anyone has bought from them that isn't a dealer (i.e. I am not buying bulk loads).
Basically this is my last avenue to find the bumper I want/need since the market has dried up on eBay.
Any info/advice you can provide in dealing with companies through this site would be greatly appreciated!

I've got a couple things from aliexpress (the small order alibabba.) Treat it like ebay. Look for sellers with good reps and lots of orders. Avoid items that are new to market, especially high dollar items. Its common for them to put in fake tracking numbers to buy more time to ship as aliexpress cancels orders after a certain number of days. If your tracking doesn't work, they are probably stalling to get the part from their supplier.

Be wary of fitment issues as well. Fitment and product quality can vary quite a bit. The risky part about those parts is there is usually no return policy and if there is, you will end up paying quite a bit to get it back there anyway.

I am making sure to stay away from the FRP parts. Everything I have heard is the fiberglass bumpers are cheaply made and poorly fitted to the vehicle. The biggest problem I have been having with their site up to this point has been coordination and communication with the dealers. Seems they rely heavily on their chat system and I want stuff in e-mails.
