No Australia Tail Light Recall As Yet !!

I rang MB Australia & was told that there were no plans for a recall.

They said that the Australian C Class came from a different production line to the US model so at this stage no decision had been made.

My dealer said that he had not experienced problems caused by the earthing fault but more from SAMs causing the problem.

Defensive . Defensive.

W204 c200k taul light recall


This is my 2008 w204 burnt out wiring loom

Cluster is burnt out must have been like that for quiet some time and it finally decied to **** itself

The burning from the previous picture has actually created a hole through to the other side

I grounded mine using a bigger gauge wire and has been fine since. It's been 8 or 9 years I think. You can still see the scarring in that first picture.
