Stock 17" + Bilstein B6 + H&R Sport. Good?

My crazy ramp up to my garage scratches my bottom every time there is a 3rd person in the car . Most of the time it is fine with just me and my wife. Occasionally, trips to Costco will result in minor scratches on the bottom. I am going to put the Bilstein B6 on in a couple weeks so I am thinking why not go for a minor drop, maybe 1"? I don't want to get new wheels anytime soon since I just put a new set of Pilot Sport A/S3 on both front/rear. Perhaps a set of H&R Sport spring would help me get where I want. I am not sure if the drop is even worth it or its not noticeable at all.

Road condition here isn't so bad, I would say average to good.

What do you guys think in term of appearance, ride comfort, clearance...? Suggestions? H&R SS's? New wheels?

P.S:I have a vid of my car going out from garage. I guess I have about 1.5-2" clearance. Will upload it soon & share.

Thanks!

Wheels won't help. Although you may go to bigger diameter wheel, the overall tire dia, must stay the same with lower profile tires

Thanks! That makes sense. I will stay with my 17" for a while then. Probably some H&R springs along with the B6's?

I realize I am potentially suggesting more work and $$, but if you want to take both steps, I would do one at a time to understand the effect of each. If you happen not to like the feel of the combination, it would help to know each step.

Yeah I wouldn't mind doing it one step at the time. I am more excited about the Bilstein B6's than lowering
