EIS replacement
Would I be able to order a new igntion EIS from dealer and replace it myself or is this a dealer only job? Do I need to program something after it is installed?

This isn't from my personal experience, but $1423 is a price I've seen that included a diag to a faulty EIS. There are three prices that total up to that number for the EIS swap and programming. Here are the prices on the invoice but they're not itemized:
