Clicking noise?

Clicking noise?
just bought a 2012 C250 i noticed when you first turn it on it makes a clicking sound for about 2 seconds an then goes away, it only does this when the car is cold. I can drive it for an hour park for ten mins turn it on an noise is not there. It only does it when the car is cold. Anyone know what it could possibly be?

there are a whole cocktail of sounds going through the process of ignition.
One is this plastic mold in the front right side of the engine that flaps open... etc etc. Yeah that sound is normal. It chimes and whirrs but she has a method to her madness to start up
