I recently purchased a 2008 c350 and while driving my passenger side marker fell off somewhere on the highway. Taking the bulb socket with it. I purchased a new socket and replaced it. However it will not light up. I checked for voltage and the socket is getting 11.45 volts. Anyone have any ideas?

Do you have continuity to ground at the same socket?

Didnt check ran out of time put it back together and it didnt work. But for some reason it decided to start working now.
