Did someone say oil !

Yes dual petrol diesel spec oil will have more detergents and dispersants to cope with soot.

And a LongLife oil better oil basestock groups and higher concentration additive package for the extended drain , but use it annually .

But I don't use a Mercedes spec oil in my Mercedes , I use another dual fuel manufacturer spec who's LongLife oil interval is longer and staves off the anti wear demands of the Pumpe Düse engine .

Very interesting. Are there any lab analyses or GC results showing the actual component breakdowns of the specific oils? Also, what is the “After Treatment Compatibility” category where the 229.3 & 229.5 oils score zero?

Thanks. Then that result is to be expected for 229.3 & 229.5 oils.
