Hi everyone, im new here.
3 months ago i bought a C200 CDI 2009 with 136 HP, and I realy love this car.
I want to get some more power from the engine, and I made a lot of research on this forum, but still didnt find a satisfying answer.

from what I found, the C200, c220, c250 got the same CDI engine, with some changes between them (turbo and mapping).

I would like to tune my C200 to around 200 HP, most of the tuning boxes and remaps that I looked into can bring it to 165-175 HP.

so my question is, beside upgrading my ECU map, how can I get more power without replacing the turbo or open the engine?
maybe upgraded injectors? cold air intake system?

I would love to hear your thoughts and recommendations.

 

Catless or highflow downpipe, free flowing exhaust, reflash tune or tuning box. Check your ECU, if it's a Siemens ECU you'll need to use a tuning box, if it's Bosch then you get probably get a proper reflash. All this should get you somewhere around 180 at the wheels. That's where I'm at with my CGi model.

is there any recommended remap\reflash tuning program?
I will check what kind of ECU i got, i prefer to remap then install a tuning box.

anyone else got some more ideas and experience with the CDI engines?

 

Perhaps you can look into a Kleeman tune.

 

my C200 CDI has around 200hp (144kw)
related mods are a new exhaust system, larger intercooler and ECU remap.
don't go for powerboxes!
btw the C200, C220 and C250 CDI do NOT have the same engine! only the same engine block but they have different turbo's, injectors, intercoolers,...
