Updating C350 w/ European navigation maps?

I just moved from the US to Germany and I don't believe my car has European maps for navigation. The US maps were severely old and outdated anyway and it needed to be updated. I know for a fact I do not have European time zones programmed.

Short of going to a Mercedes dealer over here, what are my options for adding the most recent European maps, and updating my US maps at the same time? Does anyone sell the programming DVD's? Not looking for bootlegged material, I'd prefer they be genuine MB so I am not doing anything illegal. If I can't find a cheaper, easier DIY alternative I will bite the bullet and visit a dealership.

Wow! I can't believe this got no replies.

Just as an update, and to add another question, does anyone have a quick rundown on what is involved in physically updating the navigation once you have the DVD in hand? I bought the DVD from the dealer (130 Euro without VAT) and they are offering to do the labor for free (about 4 hours worth according to them). They say it needs to be hooked up to a battery charger. Problem is, we only have one car right now, and don't really know anyone here well enough yet to ask for a ride. So I either suck it up and sit at the dealer for 4 hours, or I do it myself.

Is it possible to do it yourself without a battery charger, assuming the car is running (for instance if I drive around can it be done at the same time?) Do you just put the DVD in and follow instructions, or is it a fairly complicated process? The dealer already switched my settings from US to Euro.

I can tell you my experience from updating an old US -> new US navigation. It is fairly idiot-proof. Empty your disc changer, pop Disc 1 in, a prompt appears asking if you want to update, you press Yes, then it updates completely on it's own. If its a 2-Disc set, it will ask you to insert that once it's done with Disc 1... that's it. There's very little room for error.

However, the update to 2014 NA maps for me took ~2hrs. So yes, a battery charger would be the best bet, but most people just do the whole thing with the car running. The system recommends that it must be done while IDLE, but I and it seems many other people on the forums, just drive while it updates, so I just used the opportunity to run 2hrs worth of errands and let my car run in between (sorry environment). I've been told (but haven't tested) that you can even turn off your car in between the update and it will pick up where it left off.

With all that in mind, this was a simple US nvavigation update, the situation might be different if they are changing the region from US -> EU. Hope that somehow helps though. Good luck!

Now that I have my maps installed, can I resell the disc to recoop some of my loss, or are they a one time use thing?
