2011 C200 cdi Estate
W204 Stuttering problem
Ok I'm new to this so forgive the re-hash of an old thread which relates to older models.
I became the proud owner of a C200 cdi Estate Auto (W204 facelift model) just over a year ago and about 2 months ago it started to stutter/splutter on acceleration and in cruise control on the motorway. The problem is so intermittent that it is very hard to replicate.
I have had it in with the MB agent 3 times now and the issue is still there:
1. Diagnostics - no fault recorded - updated software
2. Diagnostics - no fault recorded - Fuel filter changed as a possible cause
It was ok for a while then the car became undrivable!
3. Diagnostics - fault on #3 injector - Injector changed and re-programmed system (ouch!)
Only 3 k up the it started again.
From a previous thread it may be the following:
1. ECU ?
2. Fuel Filter - done!
3. Turbo ?
4. Cat?
Does anyone have any ideas?
Also is this damaging the engine?

Update - Problem Solved
Following my limp back to the MB Service centre, engine light aglow the had a look at the Diesel in the car. This was not Diesel!! The Diesel was contaminated and was more like turpentine.
They flushed out the system, new F filter etc and bingo!
We get our fuel from one source as we have an account with the local retailer and we never go anywhere else.
Now the fun begins with the fuel company who "didn't have any other issues........"
