At $600, it seems that buying the steering wheel outright would be enough to compensate for the steering wheel? But on top of that I have to give away my current steering wheel as well?!

A core deposit means that you pay them $149.00 extra on top of the purchase price of the wheel. Then, when they receive your old wheel you receive that $149 back. ie it's a deposit to ensure you send in the old wheel. If you don't you lose the money.
Anyways, I was expecting the price to be around $1100 or $1200, so I think that the $599 purchase price with the core charge is reasonable, though I would actually prefer to keep my old wheel.
How long will these be available at this price? I am very interested and want one of these, but can't justify spending the money for a few months at least. Also, do you ship to APO?

I was really interested in the newer wheel with the metallic spokes (AMG style, like this one: http://www.ebay.com/itm/191239166484?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT ).
Any chance of you offering that for your pre-facelift W204 customers any time soon?
Do all of them come with Red stitching? Do you offer them with the plush/softer leather on the sides?

pm for confirmation of price/fitment for 2008 c350 sport. so do i need to remove my current airbag and install in the new wheel. any other items like reset codes, etc i need to be aware of? does the column need to be changed out and are there paddle shifters? I assume it would best to have a service center do the swap. thx
