Greetings - plus a little guidance required
Today i saw a gorgeous 2009 Mercedes C180K Blueefficiency Estate and after seeing the price jammed on the brakes and had a look.
It's in silver, bodywork excellent and 2 owners. Full service History but with 131000 miles. It's a 1.6 engine and i didn't even realise this when i drove it.
Inside the car seems very good indeed and i was so pleased with the deal offered that i parted with a deposit and pick up the car tomorrow after he's had it MOT'd. The car's also taxed until end Feb next year.
I'm very new to Mercedes.. always thought that you'd have to remortgage your house to fix them however a friend of mine has only ever owned Mercedes and runs them to astronomical mileage.
Anyway i digress... i'm just curious as to the equipment level which baffles me. There is a large LCD display with a joystick thingy in the middle however there's no sat nav. Even stranger is that there appears to be no parking sensors which the dealer confirmed with me. Is this normal practice for such an expensive car?
I also don't know what to look out for or even check so i'm looking to you guys for a little guidance... i don't even know what the trim level is as nowhere online lists it (elegance, sport, ????) apart from a T-Model which means nothing to me.
Anyway.. greets to you all i hope your nice and don't start flaming me for not searching i'm really in the dark on this.
Dead excited BTW, and the cost to me was £3600 + my Astra as px.
Thanks
Barry.
If you have a link to their online posting, it would help us all out to help you.
Enjoy!

As you can see it doesn't specify much really. I'd have loved to have parking sensors though.. although i've had large cars in the past i'm now used to the Astra.
As far as i can see there's a screen in the middle which pairs to a phone (dunno if i can bluetooth music through it.. hope so), also dual climate, that's all i really noticed to be honest.
thanks
Barry.
Parking sensors would have been an option which it doesn't have.
The screen is standard and hooked to the standard radio. It can read MP3s from cd and has a bluetooth phone connection but no music streaming via bluetooth. There is an aux-in in the glove compartment.
Dual climate is standard equipment as well.
