help, suddenly instrument cluster light on!!!
Hi, My car is 2010 MB C300 sport 4matic with about 40800 mileage and just bought about three month and run about 1000 miles.
Last week I have just DIY replaced oil and filter using an evacuator, seems all works well after replacement.
I had parked it for two days and my car suddenly showed error message on the instrument cluster: "Power steering malfunction" and "Brake, EBD, ABS and ESC inoperative". And the light of ABS and ESP are on. All these happened when car start running and speed exceed 5mph. However, I have tested the car aournd 30mph, seems the steering and brake still work as normal. I am really depressed and the closest dealer is about 100miles from my home.
I have searched the forum and cannot find a solution. Can anyone give some suggestions

I applaud your doing your own oil change. Regarding the warning lights: have you tried unhooking the battery cables for a few minutes then reattaching them? I've heard that sometimes tames the electrical demons. You might have to renew the radio chanels, tho.

Hi, i just got this message, heard that this is because the steering angle sensor is badly worm (or the battery worn). It turn out this is about time and not the mileage as it is running on battery. Else, try your spare key.
