I personally think it looks like a Frankenstein car. If you go to resell it, people like me would notice all the mis-matches and figure the car was in a wreck and wasn't put back together properly
Ya, Dont care what you think about it not being what it looks like. Kit cars are huge and they arent Lambo's, but some of them you would be hard pressed to find the difference without opening the hood. I cant afford 80k.. and until I can this is the closest I can get.
I see all these guys flaming you because it isn't really a C63 and I just shake my head..
What's wrong with wanting a car with lower maintenance costs, a more economical engine lower insurance premiums etc that still has the looks.
Who cares if it isn't a v8 under the hood? Half of us have coil over shocks, catless exhausts and all manner of various go fast bits. Are our cars race cars? not even slightly.
Some people like to modify their vehicle for performance, some like to personalise the image of it, others don't like changing anything at all. Whatever is being done doesn't directly affect you as a person, so why the negativity?
First, he did post on a public forum. Second, he clearly states that he wants to know what we think. Third, I just looked at the pics again, and I noticed that it's not a AMG replica front bumper. It's looks like the old prefacelift bumper with the LED like from 2011. So really, the only AMG thing I see about this car is the diffuser and the exhaust tips
Thanks AusMB87, but flaiming was fully expected. Anyone who has a C63 is angry I can make it look similar for a fraction of the cost. I'm gonna badge it just to make them even angrier . Also anyone who says its frankenstien tell that to the people at the MB dealership who checked it in for service as a C63 LOL had to tell them 3 times it was a C300 when they were trying to charge me for oil

No worries. I guess it makes much more sense to do what you are doing form an Aussie point of view. After all, a cheap second hand C63 here is still $70k where you can pick up a C200k for $23k or a C200cgi like mine for $35k.
God knows I would prefer a C63, but that is a whole lot of extra dollars.
Anyway, nothing wrong with a bit of a frankenstein in my book I'm sure as hell going to be putting the facelift AMG style bumper on my 2010. And Carlsson badges to match my tune. And probably the AMG style bonnet at some point. And I only have four cylinders
I wasn't flaming you for making it look like a "c63" . My point was that it doesn't even look like a c63. That's not a face-lift AMG bumper. Those are not oem headlights. Those are the depo aftermarket headlights. Only thing resembling the c63 is your diffuser
