Remote control of your vehicle
I'm thinking at some point to upgrade to a W204 C class. I was reading about the untimely death of reporter Michael hastings in a 2013 C250 that spontaneously exploded upon impact. Since this reporter made some very powerful enemies (Got General Stanley A. McChrystal fired after publishing an article in Rolling stone), it's been suggested that his car was tampered with, possibly cyber hacked and crashed remotely. Can these cars be cyber hacked? That means to me that your car is online- I'm trying to understand this. Anyone have any input?

eehhh, without wanting to get into conspiracy theories..
It is not possible at all to remotely operate our vehicles without first adding components to the vehicle. Which is no different to any other vehicle in existence. My old '73 Charger could crash if someone fitted some sort of remote controlled brake lock to one wheel...
