Luxury lip and diffuser!!!

I have been searching high and low for a carbon front lip for my lux. I don't want a clip like what Carlsson offers, just something like the carlsson lip for the AMG body kit.

Today, I finally came across these:

Does anyone have experiences with these bits?

I have emailed them for further details (and shipping cost to Aus - always the deal breaker)

Damn that rear looks great, too bad I ended up with Carlsson for the rear.

I really hate that I clicked on this thread now......however, the final product isn't as aggressive as their drawing which is kinda disappointing.

I was almost ready to go with Carlsson. My only gripe is that I could just get whole new bumpers for the price of Carlsson clip ons. What is the point??

Anyway, soon as I have the cash ($500 plus shipping!!) I am going to buy these bad boys

Nope, I just looked at the actual part and the rendering they have on the site, you can see there is a huge difference in the aggressiveness of the fins between the 2. Looking forward to your update as usual.

Hows does the diffuser work? Because the bumper does not have a spot that you can replace the diffuser. Do you have to end up cutting the bumped completely?

Hey Doa,

Keep us updated on the front lip. I have been trying to contact them about shipping costs to Australia but they haven't replied yet.

I would really love to see the lip on the bumper - I'd love to know how it differs form their concept drawing and how well it fits

Oh noooo, I don't like the silicone idea. I thought It was part of the bumper. lol! It would have been a big disappointment if I had ordered it after hefty freight charges to find its just a diffuser you have to silicone.

The only other option would be to cut out that portion of your bumper. Seeing as we don't have a removable diffuser panel, it is always going to be either a clip and glue on job or serious modification of the bumper....

Well, these will cost me £195 to ship to Australia. Substantially more than either of the parts is worth. Typical

nope. Thinking twice now. The parts are worth the au$500 they cost, but with another $400 for shipping....well, I could get an AMG style body kit for that price.

Trying to find a way around it.

Anyone in the UK visiting Australia soon?

If you're looking for something subtle, I think OEM accessories has a "lip kit" that makes the lux bumper look like the sport.

So they do! part number A204 880 0208

Looks nice. It doesn't give that extra length to the spoiler though :S I have sent my parts guy at MB an email to see about price.

Well my plan back when I was shopping around was to get aforementioned part and then apply a CF lip that was designed for the sport bumper under it. My thinking was that if this OEM part made the Lux bumper look like the sport bumper then it may fit like one also.

hhmm au$700 for those things form MBAu. They are non-existent on ebay and amazon. I guess it is still cheaper to buy the Car Body Dynamics one, even with shipping :P
