Do you think Wheels Lock is neccessary?

The reason im asking this , becuz i parked my car at the driveway and i saw a suspicuos guy was driving a white honda civic coupe passyby my home slowly (extremly slow) and stared at my car for so long...

seriously i dont think my ride or wheels is that attractive to make someone stare at it for so long...

Or ... think in this way, if he was staring at my house, it makes me feel even more worst...

cuz i've read another thread on this from , someone got his wheels stolen right in front of his house, 4 wheels missing and so much damage caused to his mercedes

wheels lock cost $ 130
my friend told me its unneccessary but you know.. im being cheap LOL

what do you guys think?

Personally it depends on the area. I never have lived in area where it has become a problem. And it also depends on your rims. Like, when I'm about to get 19's I will possibly think about getting those locks but ~$100 loss is better than +$2k.

Your grammar and spelling gave me too much of a headache to even answer your question

And also the way he ignored the implemented forum spell-checker.

For the record I try not to use them. If they come with it, I specifically request for the nuts that they originally replaced so I can go back to unlocked. Then again I do not park my cars on the streets over night and I find messing with the locks a hassle (especially during time of need).

Wheels locks cost you $150...and how much did your wheels/tires cost? And you're paranoid about someone stealing your wheels?

I think that answers the question.

The only benefit to locks is for the casual thief/prankster/saboteur. Any tire shop will be able to bypass locks completely, and real pros will simply tow the entire car away.

Granted a wheel lock is better than none, but for me personally...my next move would be to mount a camera in front of of your house (although that setup costs more than wheel locks).
