*My c350 Build Thread*
Decided to do a build thread because why not.
I originally drove a 2013 c300 4matic for a little over a year until I was leaving a car show and the driver behind me wasn't paying attention. He ended up rear ending me sandwiching my car. The car was a write off. Insurance replaced my old car with a 2014 c350 4matic which I am really not that mad about.
Here is my first build.
I had the car for around 7 months before I started modding it.
I started with the usual plasti dip grille, and emblems. Then i got my windows and tail lights tinted, at this point i was pretty content for a little while then i wanted more. I purchased some rims and then it was on from there lol.
19' TSW mugello f 19x8.5 r 19x9.5
the rims were wrapped in michelin pilot super sports.
I loved the tires and the setup the tires were 235/35/19 in the front and 255/35/19 in the rear. Very smooth ride considering the low profile.
after rims i decided the next step was some exhaust so i ordered a magna flow 2.25 x pipe. I Removed my resonator and installed the x pipe. I liked the sound, but i needed something a little bit louder. I then purchased some magnaflow performance mufflers which really boosted the sound quality to where i wanted it to be.
next was some cf goodies started with a cf front lip from JLmotoring and a brabus style cf trunk spoiler from JL as well. Then i ordered a euroteck cf rear diffuser for dual tip exhaust. All the cf fitment was perfect.
next was to lower and remove that dreaded wheel gap. I ordered some H&R sport springs and at that point everything was where i wanted it to be. I got some other goodies after like a rho plate relocation, new single fin grille wrapped my DRL's yellow, and then took off my tail light tint.
that is all i was able to do before the car was totalled, i was happy with the car, but i kind of got sick of the all black look, so i decided that my next car was going to be a completely different look.
here is my current build.
It's a diamond white 2014 c350 fully loaded.
wanted to switch things up which is why i decided to go with white.
The diamond white paint is extremely nice and has a pearlescent shine to it.
I started by ordering some Work VSXX rims. i Have wanted these rims ever since i laid eyes on them. They were my dream rims so i figured, new car why not splurge a little bit.
The offsets on these badboys are really damn aggressive.
the front are 19x8.5 et 24 and the rears are 19x9.5 et 32
which is really low especially for our cars.
I obviously had to add some stretch and poke so i went with some 215/35/19 tires in the front and some 235/35/19 in the rear. Michelin pss in the rear and some falkens in the front.
I only rub occasionally on the rear passenger side although driving with anybody in the rear is just impossible, but i don't mind it gets me out of driving on road trips
next i went with some llumar clear blue tint all around i wish it was a little more blue, but i do enjoy it.
my next step was a good ol rebadge and plasti dip the rear MB emblem. I did it black with a little bit of metalizer to add a sparkle. then wrap the DRls with some yellow tint again.
My old brabus style 3 piece spoiler was ruined in the accident among with my euroteck diffuser which really hurt the feels.
But i decided to switch things up once again and order the JL motoring DTM style trunk lip. I don't have a diffuser yet, but plan on getting one soon when i go with the quad setup.
My Cf JL front lip thankfully wasn't harmed so i threw that back on again along with my Cf wrapped roof spoiler.
My exhaust is currently the same as on my old car magna flow x pipe with performance mufflers.
I am at stock height currently but i have my old H&R sport springs i will be installing this weekend. I got to do a little fender work before i install them though which is why i have waited so long.
Next is the interior.
I am really into the VIP car scene and although i can't have rear passengers i want to make it look crazy comfortable back there. I started with swapping the tan mats for some oem black ones. Then i got some junction produce curtains and some junction produce neck pads. I wanted the Jp pillows, but i really did not want to spend the money on them so i went to home sense and got some black pillows for a fraction of the price. I then put the middle table/ arm rest down added some black fabric in the area where it sits to and threw a bottle of patron in there i then wrapped the the sides of the middle in a alligator print fabric. Threw some coasters and some sit glasses and bam I'm done. hella vip lol
although it wouldn't be complete without the jp tsuna and fuss knot.
My next mods which will be occurring very soon are going to be..
bags because its the final missing piece to the VIP look
Cf rear diffuser
quad tip exhaust setup
hardwood floor the trunk
paint calipers blue
and thats pretty much it.
I loved my first build but love my second one so much more
and that's all folks

Nice build thread! I was thinking of the llumar air blue tint for my car lately! Thanks for posting photos! I think it looks great!
Also, is that a "simple lip" on your JL lip?

I can dig it! Subscribed and looking forward to your future mods! I've got a polar white with similar taste. Looking at doing some VIP mods to mine as well.
Did you do your windshield as well? I'm thinking about doing everything to include sunroof. Reviews I've seen say it dramatically reduces the heat even with as light as it is. How do you think it feels?
And do you have more photos of the poke from your wheel/tire setup? I'm trying to determine specs for the set of wheels I'm planning to have built. I'm going for flush with a baby stretch in tires if anything or the ability to run proper tire size (not necessarily meaty though) without rubbing.

Didn't do my windshield but yea it actually reduces the heat a fair amount from what i have noticed so far, ill post some pics of the poke in a bit its not that extreme of a stretch but it does its job. Its about a 1inch stretch on all four corners

Nice build! But yeah gotta agree with the stickers.
I got ceramic all the way including windshield and panoramic roof. It makes a world of difference if you ask me! Mine is clear in the windshield and panoramic to keep the view.

that is just insane! too bad Michelin tires run wide. I have pretty conservative offsets and it rubbed with 225/40 and 255/35. I should've went 215 and 245.

what do you think of falken compared to Michelin. The only tires I've ever run was the oem continentals and Michelins (ran only Michelin on my previous Mercedes loved them so much, I decided to buy them on my w204). The ride comfort on Michelin a/s 3 was a lot better despite being 18s.

Not a fan of the stickers but everything else is nice. Nice touch with the yellow DRLs.
I have a request. Do you mind posting a clip of your exhaust in motion and idle/start-up? I too have a 2013 c350 and did the resonator delete, and instead of x-pipe, I did straight pipes. I like the sound; however, I am curious to how the sound of the magnaflow mufflers sound on a c350. Most of the sound/exhaust vids on this forum are c300s with exhaust.
I am debating to do a 2-in-2 out muffler and straight pipes to the rear OR, do two magnaflow mufflers to replace my current mufflers. So torn right now as I don't want an obnoxious loud sound on my benz.
