"Correct Tire Pressure" Message

I get the message frequently now. the numbers for the pressure are close to each other and the tires look like they are properly inflated. Do I need to reset something ? I don't think the TPMS sensors are bad being that I only have 10k miles on the odo.

From the menu - I don't remember exactly how - you can reset the proper inflation to be the current inflation.

What's the pressure you set it to?
If you want it to be at 43. Inflate it to 40 and set the tires pressure on your car at that number then Inflate it again to 43 so if it goes lower than 40. The message will come up.

A difference of 2 psi or more in any one tire compared to the others will trigger the message. I usually get it if there has been variation in outside temperature. It has been getting cooler lately, so the tires lose pressure naturally, but unevenly. Easy fix with a good pressure gauge and cold tires.

I have a c 300 with the staggered tires, 245 in front 220 in the back, have 5K and had the light come on twice. Finally i got the truth and was told by the MB dealer, use the fuel door tag numbers pus 2 lbs, hot. Then go back thru the arrow keys find the tires pressure tab and reset the values to the current and press ok button. Now the settings will be correct fot those tires in North Americe. FYI it results in 35 in the front and 40 in the back
