i found a thread somewhere and it had the P/N for exactly what i need. i tried to order one from MB with the part number i found online but they didn't have it in their system - 001-990-60-36

they suggested another screw but i had seen it in online diagrams and knew it wasn't correct.

i need the silver one - it looks like the attached. there are tons of them holding the lower shield on.

there is another bolt that has a star head that is shown in one of the diagrams - that's the one they dealer suggested and it's not correct.

any idea what the P/N actually is?

update for anyone who might search this in the future.

the part is NLA from MB! weird, because so many of their cars use this screw.

ECS and some other places say they have it, but i'm not paying ~$10 shipped for ONE screw to find out!
