Hi!!!

This week I updated my NTG4 Navigation unit v10 to V11 (2012Q2 Europe). The update took more than two hours (the standart time) without any kind of problems. Everything went ok. Then, just to be sure that everything went ok, i have even reseted the unit to system default and reboot it (shut down car for some minutes and started again the unit).

But after quickly use and test the navigation after the update, i discover two bugs that didnt existed before.

The 1st bug is:
In the Navigation menu to enter an address, after i select the country and the city, i have the choise to enter a street or just select the center of that city. The bug happens when i select that option (the center of the city). It gives a strange address (like chinese language or similar and some squares, like it is missing some characters). If i acept that strange address and start the route navigation, the navigation route says that its impossible to go to that destination and gives me a route of about 79.000 Km, where the destination is in China. Just to know that I live in Portugal, Europe.

The 2nd bug is about the POIs. If i navigate throught the map, it shows the icons of every POIs in the area. But if i enter a route and, for example, select by category some POIs in the destination point or the area where i am, its just says it doesnt exist any POIs in that area. But the true is that it exists!!!

Before the update everything worked ok as expected. I am thinking of update the navigation software again, if the system allows that.
Or maybe the problem is from a old firmware?! But everything else is working without any problems.

I even checked the secret menu in the Navi section. GPS is working ok, good signal, location is ok, no problem at all, it seems.
