I have a 2011 c300 and have 2 tail lights from a 2012 c300. I went to the dealership to have them install it on. They tried it and then told me that there's an error message and the SAM unit needs programing and needs a code from Mercedes. Anyone had any luck on installing these to a 2011 c300?

You can have your SAM unit programmed in a 2012 c300 they won't be able to program it in your 2011 and then reinstall it. Another option would be just pick up a 2012 SAM from a salvage yard or Ebay and plug it in your car and the new tail lights will work without an error message.
