White smoke at start up and brake error report

White smoke at start up and brake error report
So after a good year with no problems I am facing a few issues...
1.
white / grey smoke at engine start up when the the engine is cold.. Talked to my benz guy and he said is a seal leak thats dripping oil in the turbo. Apparently a common problem for my C180 CGI.
Benz will replace all part under warranty
has anyone else had this issue?
2.
Brake error warning on dashboard... Tail light / brake light error.. Checked the car.... Light seems to work.. Took apart the rear left lights and wires.. installed again and worked perfectly for 1 day and now the problem is back....Is it a bulb about it die or wiring problem?
Any suggestions?

done in half a day.... New seals on the turbo and a new plug in the rear left light... All under warranty
Benz also told me that I can extend the 3 year warranty but another 2 years for only USD 1200.00
Anyone know if its worth doing this?
