What year is your car? The only W204 Coupes are MY 2012+. I am thinking that you have a MY 2005 or earlier C230 Coupe, which would fall under the W203 forum

I was inquiring in general of a 3.5L M272 engine issue, commonly used on W204. (ie C300 C350 C280 etc)
The engine in question is mounted in a W164 chassis which I already stated as in an ML.

And yes, I do have a 2002 C230 Coupe but the question is not in regards to that vehicle or the ML just the engine, and if anyone has experienced anything like the codes shown in that combination.

Since you're able read the codes, there are a couple things you can try to narrow down the issue. It could be something as simple as plugs needing replacement or the coilpack(s). Just swap one of the coilpacks from a bad cylinder, e.g. #3, to a good one and see if the error follows it. If it does, then repeat to narrow down which ones are really faulty. Depending on how many miles you have on this set of plugs, might be worth replacing them anyway. Simple job that can be completed in 30mins. Good luck...

For starters, I would not trust that app as a definitive guide for any repairs. I learned the hard way that I should get a verified OBD-II code reader before I start pumping money and time into fixing anything!

Incidentally, I did have a similar situation recently... Although mine started with a P0301, went to a P0304 along with a P0637, then several P0304's, and finally, a P0300.

All of which turned out to be a bad spark plug on cylinder #1. It was past time that I changed all 6 anyways... ~$85 and some elbow grease, and my car is purring like a kitten again.

Good luck!
