changing the high beam bulb (not detailed in owners manual)

**for non-HID OE lights**
Is there any trick to getting the high beam bulb out? It looks to be held in by a few tabs (as opposed to the twin looped wire structure that hooks in that holds the low beam bulb secure). Any thoughts or tips from those that have changed the high beam bulbs would be much appreciated.

BUMP

thanks Handyman

Has anyone in the U.S. changed their high beam bulbs? I'm not certain they may twist out in U.S. models. Anyone? Help a brother out here.

· I did it, it is not too difficult, it takes timedepending on which side it is (my was driver) and challenge to put it inwithout touching the bulb (HId). You remove cover (round cover) and turn theassembly and pull it out. Use existing bulb to practice (more than oncerecommended ) to place the bulb in and twist/turn back in the socket. It is notso easy due to space constraint and size of your hand fingers. You almost haveto do it without seeing it, so that is why should practice few times beforeattempting with new bulb. You must keep the bulb without touching your handsetc. as it will burn right away. Use gloves is recommended but still must bevery cautious. there are some good instruction on the net, if I remember correctly, some with video. Good luck.
