How Critical Matching Diameters on 4Matic
I am moving from 18" factory staggered wheels on my 2013 C300 4Matic Sport Sedan to 19" staggered wheels.
I am buying 19" x 8.5" fronts and 19" x 9.5" rears with 235/35/19 fronts and either 265 or 275/30/19 rears.
Tire Rack says to go with the 275's because they are the identical outside diameter of the fronts and on a 4Matic, that's critical. Another dealer said the 275's may rub they are so big and to get the 265's that they have sold many times without issue. The difference in diameter is .2"
Does anyone with a NON-AMG W204 have 275's on the back with 48 offsets and can tell me if they fit ok?
