Headlight out, replacement bulb won't light

My 2008 C300 had the passenger side main beam die. No problem I thought, just get the appropriate bulb, probably Sylvania, and pop it in.

Simple enough.

Did so, nothing changed. Still out.

Any others have similar problem?
Fuse?
Wiring?
Hideously expensive fix?

Any experiences that came out well are welcome.

OK, turned on lights this morning and, VOILA,,,,,,,, now working fine.... I won't ask any more questions
