code P0021: intake camshaft position timing over advanced bing 2.
Hi,
My name is Ebrahim and I am from Toronto, I have just very recently joined this great forum. You guys do an amazing job here.
I just recently got a C250 4matic 2010. its my first merc here in Canada. It had 78000KM clicks on it however when i got it last week, i took it to new york, drive and everything is amazing however while coming back to Canada, the check engine light came on. It stayed for a day and then disappeared. I got this ride from a local car dealer not the mercedes dealer itself. when i got it checked through the scanner, it showed an error code P0021: intake camshaft position timing over advanced bing 2. When i asked the guy from whom i bought the car from, he cleared the code and said its noting serious. I was wondering what are your thoughts on this? anything that I should worry about?
Also to the best of my knowledge and correct me if I am wrong Mercedes has a 100K engine and transmission warranty on them. The guy i got the car from offered a warranty package from the Autograd Advantage.ca, is it worth to take it? The car is under 30 day dealer warranty itself right now.
