Hi everyone, I'm trying to identify a sensor when I was removing the passenger seat, I tried to google it but have not found any information related to this sensor. I got an SRS light after unplugging the sensor and put it back.
SRS = safety restraint system I do believe. It's what stops the seat belt from moving and locks it on hard breaking to keep you in the seat for car crashes. The light my clear on its own once it's pluged back in and you go drive for a few mins. Or you may need to do a reset.. I'm sure someone on here will know more.
found what it is, strain gauge for seat belt. My light is there for a while now and has not cleared by itself, however I just tested with a multimeter to check the voltage output it seems the sensor works just fine. I guess I need to get the code reset by the dealer.
