Fog Lights- Lesson learned
Fog lights kept burning out.
So, after spending $$$ on numerous bulbs and finally taking my car into the dealership for out-of-warranty work, I learned that the turning/cornering feature of the car.
I've owned my car since 2009 and did not know this! $200 labor service for them to tell me that's how the fog lights worked! I want to laugh and drive off the bridge at the same time. I guess i prepared myself for $$$$$$ in repairs.
I'm sure you all knew about this feature. I guess I need to be a little more intimate with my car.

If only you had a book that told you that when you bought your car. It's surprising that most people don't read their owners manual when they buy a car.

Yeah... I'm guilty of this. Funny thing is that I'm the type that loves to read the manual front to back. Unfortunately, I refer to the car manual on "how to replace this" or "how to operate that". I would never have thought to read the "fog light" section of the book. Maybe "how to replace a fog light bulb".

its an option your dealer can always activate or deactivate. i had the impression its a standard option so all 204's with fog lights had it.
btw just put LED's in there

Oh alright. didnt know that i thought it was under the lighting package or something. i guess mine are turned off. if i want to make sure do i just put on the turn signal and look outside the car? or do i have to turn the turn signal on and turn to the direction im going to see if its activated?
